LSTSRV - mailing list server.
LSTSRV is a mailing list exploder.
A message sent to LSTSRV with the name of a mail list at
the start of the subject line will read a file with the
name of the mail list and create a personal message to
each address in the file.
Example:
If the file AUTHORS.LST had:
n0ary@n0ary.#nocal.ca.usa.na
w0rli@w0rli.or.usa.na
wd6cmu@wd6cmu.#nocal.ca.usa.na
aa4re@aa4re.#nocal.ca.usa.na
w5smm@wa8drz.#nocal.ca.usa.na
g1nna@g1nna.gbr.eu
wa8bxn@wa8bxn.#neoh.oh.usa.na
w2xo@w2xo.#swpa.pa.usa.na
wg7j@wg7j.or.usa.na
f6fbb@f6fbb.fmlr.fra.eu
A message to LSTSRV@W0RLI.OR.USA.NA with subject line
AUTHORS.LST For all you bbs authors ...
EXAMPLE: SP LSTSRV@W0RLI.OR.USA.NA <cr>
Sj: AUTHORS.LST H Address Parsing Order
Will copy the message to each address in AUTHORS.LST
LSTSRV can also be triggered from the To: field of a message.
EXAMPLE: SP FFF@W0RLI.OR.USA.NA
Sj: Tokyo fire department profile:
In this case, the list file FFF must exist in RLICFG, and the SERVER.MB
entry for LSTSRV must contain FFF.
Sysop note:
LSTSRV should be installed in SERVER.MB as:
lstsrv.out h8 s6 lstsrv.in h8
LSTSRV
For the second example, the SERVER.MB entry would be:
lstsrv.out h8 s6 lstsrv.in h8
